I saw a photo of a model that I really liked so 

I thought I should turn it to an illustration,

I did some practices here, 15 mins each, using black colored pencil.

Zigzag guy!  

I was doing some work then I thought 

let's do one character for fun,

 I called it Zigzag because of his hair style!

I did this for fun and really enjoyed working on it, base is done in maya

and rest of the image in PS, I called it "Underwater Angel"

hope you like it. 

Plying with puppy, white soldier and attacking Ninja made it to the color stage!

I'm kind of going through my sketch books and choose some 

drawings that I like and then color them in PS, hope you like it.

I had so much fun drawing these at Costa coffee, I was looking at passing people and drawing their cartoon version in my sketchbook.

I kind of went through my sketch books and scanned some of my drawings that I liked. I'll be posting these sketches eventually,hope you like it.

I spent more than 10 days on this one, I thought I'm not going to finish it, but I did,Yeyyy...
Hope you like it I called it Calmness.

I used maya and photoshop.

I found this half dead dragonfly on my way to work and tried to rescue him somehow which didn't happen. I took it to our office and did some quick sketches and took a memorial photo by my phone!

Well, I'm not in a good mood!  sometimes I think why I even bother drawing or spending time on something that both doesn't have money and satisfaction in it! (not to mention audience :))the more you do it the more you realize that you don't know! Kind of sucks. I unfortunately just love it!

"Simple kiss"


After sketching my Idea I started to model the environment/ characters and did a simple lighting, I rendered some individual passes and used those in photoshop, Mask pass was in action like crazy!.
I used maya and mentalray + lot of digital paint in photoshop, hope you like it.

I uploaded the hi-res version of this illustration here. First one from the left is master Shajarian and the second character is master Shahram Nazeri , these 2 are the legends of persian traditional music and I love them both.
